See here. The bum Shuttleworth is partnering with IBM (also big traitors) and is supporting the Express-C database. Shameful. Especially when MySQL is around. But that’s not even very bad until you realize that Canonical is actively selling support for Express-C. Bums.

Oh, and they also sell the premier version. How much? £1,887.84!!!! That’s about $3500. Traitors.

Mark Shuttleworth Announces Next Crazy Name: Intrepid Ibex

See here. The Obi-Wan Kenobi of the Linux realm has just announced the next version of Ubuntu (8.10, released, duh, 10/08).

You know, I think there’s a pattern here. Dapper Drake, Edgy Eft, Feisty Fawn, Gutsy Gibbon, Hardy Heron, Intrepid Ibex… hey, they’re all alphabetical! Amazing!
